MAIN PROMPT

Create a cinematic dark-comedy short film titled "Delivery to Nowhere." Follow an exhausted delivery driver on the final order of the night. The navigation app sends them farther from the city through industrial roads, empty service lanes, and a strangely immaculate rural intersection. Each new instruction becomes more specific and more absurd: turn where there is no road, wait beside a dead vending machine, flash headlights twice, then continue when a streetlamp turns off. Play the situation completely straight. Use realistic vehicle interiors, dashboard reflections, windshield rain, practical roadside lighting, and deadpan performance. Keep the humor visual and situational rather than dialogue-heavy. Camera language should mix car-mounted shots, static roadside compositions, and quiet close-ups. End with the driver finally finding a tiny table under one streetlight with exact payment and a note saying only “thank you,” then receiving another impossible order.

Prompt Variations

5 professionally rewritten directions around the same core idea.

The Order Has No Address

Begin with a delivery ticket containing only GPS coordinates and a note reading “you’ll know when you’re there.” Follow the driver through progressively emptier roads. Keep the humor dry and end at a folding chair with exact cash and no visible customer.

Navigation Keeps Apologizing

Use a navigation voice that repeatedly says “sorry” before issuing increasingly strange but technically precise directions. The driver remains calm and professional. Build the comedy from patience, repetition, and realistic road geography.

Daytime Desert Version

Move the story to a bright, desaturated desert highway at midday. The driver follows bizarre instructions through service roads and abandoned rest stops. Replace night suspense with heat shimmer, long-lens road compression, and dry observational humor.

The Same Gas Station

Have the driver realize they are passing the same small gas station every fifteen minutes despite following different roads. Use repeating compositions with small changes, deadpan cashier interactions, and a final delivery point hidden behind the station.

Silent Customer Chat

Tell the story through short delivery instructions on the driver’s phone without large graphic overlays. The customer replies only with increasingly odd location cues. End with a perfectly ordinary five-star rating after an impossible route.
